Challenge cup match update
Another fantastic occasion for the club is only days away and as preparations continue on the field the stadium staff at Keepmoat stadium have been in touch with some info that will assist your enjoyment of the day.
Supporters bus tickets are still available with an extra bus added to the fleet travelling to Doncaster. Tickets are available from the clubhouse priced at Adults £6, Kids Free. Spaces may be available on the day but to ensure your seat pre-purchase your tickets from the clubhouse. The supporters buses will depart to Doncaster from the Sharlston rugby club at 12.45 prompt.
Making Your Own Way
BY ROAD – Stadium Way, Doncaster, DN4 5JW. Keepmoat Stadium is conveniently situated just outside of the town centre and minutes from junction 3 of the M18, with excellent links to the motorway network, access can be found easily from M1 (Jnc 32), M18 (Jncs 3 & 4), A1(M) (Jnc 36) and M62. Then continue to follow the yellow directional signs for the Stadium.
BY RAIL - Located just 2.2 miles from Doncaster Train Station which is on the main London-Edinburgh line. From the station there is easy access to the stadium by bus (Doncaster Frenchgate Interchange is located adjacent to Doncaster Train Station). Alternatively Taxi cabs are situated just outside the Station.
BY BUS - The normal daily First Bus 72 & 75 service will operate from the Doncaster Frenchgate Interchange every 20 minutes between 5.30am and 6.00pm (Monday – Saturday) then hourly thereafter until 9.15pm and every 30 minutes between 9.35am and 6.05pm on Sundays.
Secure on site car parking is available just off Stadium way £4 per car, £10 per mini bus and £20 per coach.
Admission into the Stadium
Entry to the stadium is via turnstiles 6-10 on the EAST STAND which open from 2pm. Cash is not accepted on the turnstiles, tickets can be purchased from the ticket office located on the South Stand or by pre booking by calling the stadium ticket office 01302 762576. Tickets are priced at Adults £10, Concessions £5, U16s £3, U5s Free.
Stadium Rules and Regs
The stadium is ALL SEATED and NO standing please although there are no restricted views. There is a strict NO SMOKING policy and is stadium is covered by a fire alarm smoke sensor system in ALL areas. The stadium has a comprehensive CCTV monitoring system which covers the site both inside the ground and out. The stadium has a strict Challenge 21 policy operating on all alcohol outlets so I.D will be needed for age verification in some cases. Photography is permitted inside the stadium.
Our spectators have always behaved in an appropriate manner and the club want this to continue. It’s only 3 years ago that the games reputation was tarnished with the abandonment of Queens v Doncaster. Sharlston are privileged to be involved in the Carnegie Challenge cup this season and spectators are reminded that their behaviour represents the club in this prestigious competition.
