Despite having a free weekend due to Queens and Drighlington in the delayed Yorkshire cup final at Belle Vue Stadium. The Rovers squad were put through their paces by head coach Gordy Long with a 9am Sunday morning training session.

With the league title decider game looming on Wednesday when Queens are once again visitors (7.30 KO) the coaching staff were keen to get 2 sessions under the belt going into the must win game. The last meeting went down to the wire in the National cup semi final with a touchline kick giving Rovers the 22-21 victory.

Should Sharlston win this game with Queens they will still need to travel to Drighlington on Saturday and come away with a win to be crowned Pennine Premier champions.
