Rovers to host Yorkshire v Cumbria U17s this weekend.

Our own Weeland road ground will be the venue that will host the upcoming Under 17s BARLA county tri-series game as Yorkshire host Cumbria on Sunday 7th Novemeber kick off 1.30pm.

The action will start this weekend on Sunday 7th November when the White rose under 17s will host their Cumbrian counterparts at Sharlston Rovers Weeland Road ground, kicking off at 1.30pm. Yorkshire opened the series with a disappointing 28-4 defeat to the hands of Lancashire and a win is a must to be in with a shout as the competition climax’s in December when Cumbria hosts Lancashire.

Later in the month the penultimate climax of the Under 19 and open age competitions will be held at College Grove, Wakefield as part of a double header as both sides play Cumbria in crucial matches. In the open age competition both Yorkshire and Cumbria beat Lancashire so it will be a winners takes all game.
